About Us

Founded by Garland Edward Matthews in 1923, the original offices were first located on East bank Street in Petersburg, VA. Upon his death in 1953, the company was guided by R.G. Brockwell Sr., who soon passed the reigns of the company to his son, R. Garland Brockwell. In 2002, John moved the company to Colonial Heights, VA where it continues to thrive. It is among the areas most respected real estate and property management firms in the region.
