About Us

Kiwanis International is a global organization of members dedicated to serving the children of the world. Kiwanis and its family of clubs—nearly 600,000 members strong—annually raise more than US$100 million and dedicate more than 18 million volunteer hours to strengthen communities and serve children. Members of every age attend regular meetings, experience fellowship, raise funds for various causes and participate in service projects that help their communities. Members also make an impact throughout the world by participating inKiwanis International’s new global campaign for children, The Eliminate Project: Kiwanis eliminating maternal and neonatal tetanus.
We, the Kiwanis Club of Petersburg (Lunch), are comprised of men and women from all walks of life. Our objective is to bring aid to children in need. The majority of our efforts benefit children in our community. A portion of our funds we raise go to help meet Kiwanis International's objectives which focus on the special needs of young children.
We serve by sponsoring fundraising activities, which provide monetary support for children's programs, and through personal involvement in the giving of our time and skills through service projects. Anyone interested in serving others will feel very welcome here.
